My name is Anna Christiani

I was born in the Netherlands in 1953 as the fifth of six siblings. When I was 11 years old I received my first diary on Christmas day in 1964. That is when I started to journal and wrote much over the years. Mostly when I experienced some drama in my life it showed being very helpful as a way of coping skills . But I also discovered that writing became my passion and so the idea of writing short stories based on autobiography material was born in 2024.

I had my first writing class in 2015 with Jerry Waxler at Northampton Community College. In 2019, I started my memoir writing in a writers group at the Bethlehem Public Library which is also taught by Jerry.
